Welcome to The Menier Chocolate Factory London, United Kingdom. The Menier Chocolate Factory opened in 2004 and later that year had its first West End transfer (Fully Committed). It has received numerous awards including the prestigious Evening Standard Theatre award for Outstanding Newcomer 2005. In 2006, its critically acclaimed production of Sunday in the Park with George transferred to the West End for a very successful run, subsequently winning 5 Olivier Awards, including Best Actor in a Musical, Best Actress in a Musical and Outstanding Musical Production. The show opened on Broadway in February 2008. The third production to transfer to the West End was Little Shop of Horrors which opened at the Duke of York’s Theatre in March 2007 and later transferred to Ambassadors Theatre. In December 2007, Samuel West’s revival of Dealer’s Choice by Patrick Marber opened at the Trafalgar Studios following yet another sold out season for the Chocolate Factory. We are currently in talks about transferring our most recent sold-out hit, La Cage aux Folles.

Built in 1870 to house a Chocolate Factory, this historical building has now been converted into an arts complex which includes a Gallery, Restaurant and Theatre. Having maintained the original exposed wooden beams, unusual cast iron columns and an amazing brick feature interior, the Menier Chocolate Factory is a unique space to experience stimulating, challenging and entertaining Theatre. The Restaurant offers delicious modern British cuisine and a specially created pre-Theatre set menu to suit all tastes and appetites, using bare brick and timber beams offset with mellow sounds and candlelight to enhance your dining experience.
