The Mount Pleasant Hotel, Sidmouth, England has being owned and run by Mr & Mrs P. Gleave since 1994. The Hotel is grade II listed, set in 3/4 acre of award winning gardens. Built in the late Georgian period c1795 as a private residence, we believe the Hotel may have also being used a rectory before being turned into a Hotel sometime during the last century.

Since taking over the Hotel Mr & Mrs Gleave have being making extensive improvements to both the inside & out to allow your stay to be as comfortable as possible. Perhaps the most important has been relocating the dining room to provide a comfortable & spacious area to enjoy the high quality food provided by our head chef Julian Temple.
