Enjoy the deep blue waters of Abaco
There is nothing I can compare of my holiday getaway experience in Abaco. Me and my wife decided to be a member of the Abaco Residence Club two years ago. The deep blue turquoise water of the Caribbean is so relaxing, body mind and soul it re-freshens those who are riding the waves of the Caribbean waters. So refreshing!
Our first day into the island was very invigorating. We spent 3 hours for a whole body spa, my personal choice is moderate Swedish massage. The therapist is so awesome, her soft hands can make my joints pop which is very cool. I really need a body massage to promote circulation and ease muscle and joint tension from 8 hours of sitting in the office. After the body spa it's lunch time so we make our way into one of the most well known restaurants in the Island. The place is so airy, clean, the wall decors are so Bahamian. But how about the food? It's heaven sent! Mouth watering crustacean dishes, Bahamian local dishes... All kinds of dishes are there. If you don't have a hypersensitivity to crustaceans then you should try Lobster Bisque, baked oyster, and my personal favorite king crab legs dipped into mayonnaise.
Our second day was the start of our Caribbean adventure. Fishing, fishing and fishing is the only leisure activity I love to do. My first catch was a yellow fin snapper, it took me 15mins to haul up the 1200lbs fish. It was an epic battle of catch and release! After that bad luck sets in, for 2hrs of setting the rod into the sea, looks like the fishes are getting clever this time so we change venue but still bad luck follows us so we went wind surfing and para sailing. It's really cold up there, it feels like I'm going to freeze up even the sun is up.
The Caribbean Island is loaded with fun not just on the day time but also at night. The sound of the drums echoed into the whole Island, beach side party has never been this awesome. Dancing around the fire, fire eaters and acrobats dancing around, it was truly an adventure of a lifetime!
