"A Place in the Sun" is a classic, mid-century, old Palm Springs style inn resting on one acre of lush lawns and gardens. Immaculately maintained & recently renovated, this garden Hotel was originally built in the early 1950's as a retreat for the production crew of the film classic "A Place in the Sun" starring Elizabeth Taylor. Old Palm Springs style with modern updates such as high speed wireless internet access, 20-year pillowtop mattresses, and saltwater pool & spa. Incredible views, fragrant gardens and a great south-end location. Located just south of downtown Palm Springs, it is just a moment's drive to a great selection of shopping, dining, theatre and nightclubs.
Sixteen single-story bungalows form an enclave around the sparkling, heated salt-water pool and jacuzzi. Lavish continental breakfasts are served on season weekends poolside, in the gazebo.
