Acorns Guest House, a late Victorian Guest House in the heart of Combe Martin offers our guests the re-assurance of having been inspected by the English Tourist Board gaining a 4 star rating. All rooms are well appointed with en-suite facilities, colour television and most have either coastal or country views. Parking? No problem, we have our own large car park.
Situated in a beautiful and fertile valley, or Combe, on the western edge of Exmoor National Park, Combe Martin lies at the centre of some of North Devon's most spectacular coastal scenery.
The village is located by the sea and is on the South West coastal path and within easy reach of wonderful sandy beaches, the wild countryside of Exmoor National Park and many other attractions in England's North Devon region.
We take the utmost pride in our full English breakfast, using local produce. Evening meals are also available by prior arrangement. Vegetarians are catered for. The local village of Combe Martin is a welcoming place, with several friendly public houses, restaurants, tea rooms and a tourist information centre within a few minutes walk.
For those larger special occasions we can arrange for private functions at The Galleon Restaurant, Seaside, Combe Martin, seating up to 22 people.
LFRACOMBE GOLF COURSE - Founded in 1892. This is a privately run members club which offers a warm welcome to visitors and offers a challenge to golfers of all abilities.
WATERMOUTH CASTLE - This unique castle overlooks the picturesque Watermouth Cove, and offers a unique and fun day out, with attractions and entertainment for all ages.
LUNDY ISLAND - Lundy Island is utterly unique, separate and unspoilt. Sail from Ilfracombe or Bideford on the MS Oldenburg or take the new helicopter service.
