Welcome to Al Forno, Providence, Rhode Island, United States. Al Forno Restaurant, Providence opened on January 2, 1980. Chef-owners Johanne Killeen and George Germon bring simple renditions of food rooted in the various regions of Italy to their riverfront Restaurant kitchen. Dishes are re-crafted to reflect the products of New England's farms and waters cooked in wood burning ovens and on grills over hardwood wood charcoal fires. Theier training in the fine arts is evident in the original,creative techniques used in their signature dishes.
Al Forno operates on a first come first serve basis. We accept reservations for parties of 6 or more, reservations are based on availabilty on Tuesday through Thursday evenings and Tuesday through Friday eveings during the month of December. We also accept reservations for College Graduation and Parent's Weekends and Valentine's Day.
