Welcome to Alice's Masks Studio, Firenze, Italy. After graduating Agostino Dessi owner of Alice's Masks Studio opens his own workshop in 1979, starting his work with the Masks of the Commedia dell Arte and the Venetians paintings of the l8th century.

At the beginning ct the 80's, always pulling his inspiration from the Carnival of Venice, he creates some innovating Masks that will be very popular and followed by the artisans of the sector: the moons, the suns, the jollies, the elves, the satyres and Bacchus.

Agostino Dessi from Alice's Masks Studio, Firenze, Italy has developped several decorative techniques, using materials as fabric, lace, withered flowers and flowers in fabric. His work goes far beyond the mask definition, especially the multiple compositions with several faces become objects of interior decoration that can be considered as real pieces of art.

Since 1997, his daughter, Alice, has also been actively involved in their historic Florentine workshop, organizing international mask-making workshops on the practical techniques of mask creation, with courses open to anybody who is interested in and an enthusiast of this type of art.

Agostino Dessi's pieces are not simply Masks, they are Sculptures in papier-mache.
