Welcome to Alidade Marine Services, Blue Hill, Maine, United States. Alidade Marine Services president Sean C. Walsh has been a "professional" mariner since the age of 10 when he purchased his first boat and obtained a lobster license. Growing up he worked in the family's Kennebunkport marina where he gained experience in boat handling, maintenance, and vessel inspection.
Since joining the United States Coast Guard in 1987, now Senior Chief Walsh has had extensive experience in boat handling, vessel systems, port security, emergency response, icebreaking, search and rescue, seamanship training and law enforcement. Over his 20+ year career he has been the recipient of numerous Coast Guard medals and commendations as well as private and public sector citations for his outstanding service. Walsh has also received specialized training in the areas of damage control, firefighting, celestial navigation, critical incident stress managment, and hazardous waste recovery.
