Richard and Judy offer you a warm welcome to Amble House, a small Victorian Guest House built in 1896 of traditional Lakeland slate and occupying a quiet location in the market town of Keswick on Derwentwater, in the United Kingdom, providing an excellent standard of non-smoking bed and breakfast accommodation all year round.
Amble House is a few minutes walk from the town centre and surrounding fells. A ten minute stroll will take you to the shores of the magical Lake Derwentwater and Keswick's 400 seat theatre. Come and touch the experience.
Our centrally heated double, twin and single rooms have en-suite facilities, and are furnished to a high standard with cleanliness and comfort a priority. They are well equipped with remote controlled colour televisions, radio alarm clocks, hairdryers and tes and coffee making facilities.
Amble House offers a selection of magazines, walking books and maps for you to browse through and a daily weather forecast to help you plan your day. We provide drying facilities for wet outer clothing and footwear. Secure cycle storage is available.
