Opened as Madison's first bed & breakfast in April of 1985, Annie's Garden Bed & Breakfast is an inviting cedar shake and stucco home in the craftsman style, overlooking a beautiful valley view of Warner Park with the eastern shore of Lake Mendota nearby. Tall green spruces, shaggy hemlocks and flowering dogwoods surround Annie's Garden Bed & Breakfast, gardens, gazebo, and pond, framing lovely views of the wildness of the park.
Annie's Garden Bed & Breakfast hosts only one reservation at a time, allowing romantic solitude and privacy for guests in a supremely comfortable setting, with warmth and great attention to detail.
A two-mile jogging course encircles the park and there are miles of nature trails to explore. Stroll the lakeshore at sunset and watch the sailboats. Catch a glimpse of deer, fox, or sandhill cranes by the meadow's edge. In the winter, cross-country ski or ice skate on the park lagoons, or thrill to the calls of owls on a starlit walk through falling snow.
Annie's Garden Bed & Breakfast is a scant six minutes from the heart of downtown Madison in the United States and the university campus, but far-removed from their noise and traffic, a lovely sylvan setting for you, the best of both worlds.
