Welcome to Anthony's in Surfside Beach!

Claudio Buono and Tommy Amari had grown up around restaurants with relatives in the pizza business even owning restaurants on their own. In 1994 they bought the then struggling Anthony’s Pizza on Valley Avenue.

Working fourteen-hour days seven days a week willed the restaurant into success. In just one year, in March of 1995, they had opened their second Anthony’s Pizza location on Sensey Road. By August of the same year they had opened their third restaurant in Stephens City.

Now needing a trusted partner, to ensure the quality of the food and customer service, they brought in Tommy’s brother Joe Amari to be the manager of the Stephens City location. Ten months later another Anthony's restaurant sprang up on route 50 and needing another trusted manager Claudio convinced his brother Vincent to relocate to Winchester. Since 1994 they have opened a total of fourteen restaurants in an 85 mile radius, including this one in Surfside Beach.

These brothers have shown that with hard work the American dream still lives and can build a business. Their success can only been an indication of the quality of their food, customer service, and support of the community.
