From the moment you walk through the Gothic copper front doors you will feel at home, because while top end comforts are assured - the atmosphere is relaxed and with only two guest suites you know you are going to be looked after.
As you walk through the Lodge over Italian tiles you can admire locally crafted ironwork and over 3m high timber ceilings. Contemporary New Zealand Art is everywhere, a true cultural explosion.Wide, covered verandas extend off the entire Lodge and offer shade when eating outside, or when simply relaxing with that glass of Marlborough wine.
Marlborough - the Sauvignon Blanc Capital of the world is at Antria?s doorstep. With the famous Cloudy Bay Vineyard in the same block and 40 others within
10 mins, you know you are in the right place to explore New Zealand?s largest wine growing district. Kathryne and Phil?s extensive knowledge of the local vineyards will help guide you to the ones best suited to your tastes or if you prefer, Phil, can take you on a full or half day personalised wine tour if you want to sit back and relax in our comfortable 4WD.
Antrias two Luxury Suites are tiled to keep you cool during Marlboroughs balmy nights and the underfloor heating will warm you in the cooler months. En-suite facilities comprise of double walk-in showers complete with Italian fittings. Both suites include imported curtain treatments, local handmade soaps and hair treatments, robes and electric blankets. Metre thick concrete walls allow for the quietest nights sleep. Both suites have French doors which open onto the large timber covered courtyard verandahs. These feature Italian handpainted stone tables for your relaxation, perfect with that glass of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
