Four areas with three complete commercial kitchens, two restaurants and six bars are located throughout the facility.
The Reef Room at Aquarium Catering in Dallas, Texas, can accommodate a seated served dinner for 100 or a cocktail reception for 200 amidst the saltwater exhibits from around the world. This area is available after 6:00 pm. On the second level of the Aquarium exhibit, the Port Hole offers beautiful nighttime views of downtown Dallas. With approximately 4,500 square feet of banquet and entertainment space, the Port Hole can accommodate up to 400 for a formal setting or 500 for an informal function. This area is available for early morning breakfasts, daytime in-service programs, luncheons or evening dinners.
On the first floor of the Orinoco, Secrets of the River rainforest exhibit, the underwater floor-to-ceiling acrylic viewing panel looks into the River display. This area is also available after 6:00 p.m. and is included with the adjacent Tribal Gallery/Theater. The Tribal Gallery is ample space for a seated serve dinner for 250 or cocktails and hors d? oeuvres for 350 people. State-of-the-art audio-visual equipment adds to the corporate usefulness of this setting.
