Welcome to the Aquarium of Genoa, Italy. The Aquarium of Genoa's mission is to create awareness among the general public of marine conservation and responsible management of aquatic environments. With this objective in mind, some lines of development have been created in a cultural and scientific environment with the goal of involving families, schools and employees in concrete actions aimed at saving marine ecosystems.

In order to be able to divulge a comprehensible message to every type of person the Aquarium of Genoa organises events and initiatives that encourage people to reflect on environmental issues.

For its own research initiatives the Aquarium is supported by a Scientific Council, whose purpose is to identify areas in which to take action and to define objectives related to the actions defined.
