We have an English Country front garden with a sitting area. The Fruit Alley walkway down the side is lined with espaliered apple and pear trees, quince and fig and a gravel path lined with a variety of lavenders. A secluded side arbour with table and chairs sits under the shade of Kiwis, grapes and honeysuckles. You can wander around the back to another large grape arbour with climbing roses and climbing hydrangeas, raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries, savoring the taste of organic treats while enjoying the shade of the afternoon and a good book.
The Arbours Bed and Breakfast has three upper decks all giving views of the mountains nearby and offering either sun or shade and in good weather a wonderful place to breakfast in the morning.
The gardens are a labor of love for both myself and my husband, and we hope our guests come and enjoy them while they are staying here too.
In the winter months, there is some of the best skiing around at Mount Washington. A day shuttle leaves from nearby in the morning and comes back in the early evening, so you can thrill to the many runs on Mount Washington and return to The Arbours Bed and Breakfast and all that the Comox Valley has to offer in great restaurants, theatre and entertainment.
