Similar to many Lewis designs, Arrowhead has the spacious landing areas off the tee, sizable greens and forgiving collection areas that help keep play moving. Rounds there run about four hours. Also common to the area, there's water everywhere, as in all 18 holes. But most of it is lateral and clear enough out of play that you really have to do something awful to find it. On the flip side, Arrowhead has truly memorable undulations in the fairways uncommon to flat ol' Florida. The par-4 second hole is a great example. A properly placed drive up the left side of the 377-yard hole can end up as far as 60 yards past a drive to the right side. And the multi-tiered greens are always entertaining.
