Ash Tree House was built in 1851 as a farmhouse called 'The Hawthorns' and was for some time in the 19th century the home of Victorian novelist Thomas Hall Cain.
Ash Tree House in Keswick in the United Kingdom, still retains many of its period features and has been our home for the past 20 years.
We are a ten minute walk from the town centre of Keswick and are handy for the bus stop to Penrith Railway Station.

We have two en-suite rooms and have only been open as a Guest House since 2002 when both rooms were completely refurbished and the en-suites newly built.

The light, comfortable twin-bedded room is en-suite and has tea and coffee making facilities and television and video recorder. There is also room for and extra bed should you wish to accommodate another person.
