Spacious family suite. Main bedroom with queen-size bed leading into lounge area with fire place. Off the main bedroom a 2nd smaller bedroom with single bed. (an extra mattress can be added for 2nd child).
Garden Suites with single beds or king-size bed. Please specify your choice. Bathroom with shower only. Lounge with fireplace. French doors on to private patio.
A spacious luxury thatched roofed Cottage. Built in old style i.e. thick walls, thick wooden beams, reed ceiling, wooden floor. Downstairs 2 bedrooms en suite, both with private entrance and patio. 1 with shower above bath and 1 with shower only. Single or king size beds (please state preference). TV and music station in rooms, fans. Upstairs is a lounge with fireplace and balcony. Safe private Parking. Not self-catering.
For nature-lovers and hikers near Swellendam in the Western Cape, you will find the De Hoop Nature Reserve, Cape Agulhas - the Southern-most tip of Africa - and Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve are a short drive away. The Marloth Nature Reserve and Bontebok Park are virtually on the doorstep! For golfers, there?s the beautiful nine-hole golf course overlooking the Hermitage Valley. For the more adventurous, kayaking on the breathtaking Buffeljags Dam or exploring the magnificent Langeberg Mountains on horseback is a must. Get down to earth and experience picking (and eating) your own berries or tasting delicious berry liqueurs, jams and other products at a working youngberry farm in the Valley. For the slightly more hedonistic, the renowned wine estates of Robertson, Barrydale and Montagu are an easy drive away, whilst Swellendam itself hosts a selection of country culinary delights. Finally, for the child in all of us, the world-renowned Faerie Sanctuary cannot be missed.
