The Aurora Regional Fire Museum in Aurora, Illinois, is a fascinating and interesting Museum that is committed to preserving and exhibiting unique artifacts as well as the history of fire departments in the area. Fire safety and fire prevention is also taught and promoted at the Museum. This non-profit fire Museum first opened its doors in 1968, and is home to more than 1000 artifacts, volume upon volume of historical information as well as thousands of photographs and we eagerly accept donations of fire memorabilia, newspaper clippings and any other historical materials.
