Baguette Restaurant and Lounge Bar is a stylishly casual restaurant built in 1976 and still owned by the Domenech family. Son Geoff now manages but parents Francis and Marilyn are still very much involved in the day to day operation. The restaurant and bar has been renovated several times over the past 30 years.
Michelin-starred chef Bruno Loubet heads up Baguette Restaurant and Lounge Bar's kitchen. His culinary pedigree is unrivaled in Brisbane . Trained in France, he made his reputation in the UK where he was named Young Chef of the Year (1985 Good Food Guide)
Fortunately for Brisbane Bruno chose to settle here. After 2 years at Berardo's at Noosa that restaurant won Gourmet Traveller's 'Best Regional Restaurant in Australia 2005'. Back in Brisbane his new menu at Baguette Restaurant and Lounge Bar  is built on a foundation of classic French cooking, innovatively modernised.
