Built in 1938 by Sir Percy Mirehouse Hope, OBE, Bannerdale has been recently renovated and completely refurbished with harmonious, high quality fittings and furnishings. Gas central heating and double glazing ensure warmth and comfort during your stay at Bannerdale. The gravelled drive leads to a private parking area with space for three cars.
Bannerdale has Cherrywood flooring, a beamed ceiling and a living flame gas fire as well as the comfortable and friendly suite which invites you to relax and feel at home. TV and video, radio and CD player provide further home comforts. The attractive French windows lead out onto the large, elevated patio which overlooks the front lawn and offers a magnificent view of the fells. Furniture and lighting make the patio a perfect place for an evening BBQ (facilities provided).
Bannerdale has a spacious solid oak kitchen with a stone tiled floor and is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge freezer (integrated into the units). The double electric oven, gas hob and microwave all make cooking a real pleasure on your self-catering holiday. This lovely kitchen opens onto the sunny and tastefully decorated dining area with an oak dining table and chairs for six people and, additionally, a breakfast bar for two.
