Built in 1887, this large Greek Revival home has been totally renovated and refurbished to accommodate guests in three luxurious suites - all with sweeping views of Frenchman Bay. The Bar Harbor Tides is set on an acre and a half of landscaped grounds accented by lovely English gardens and towering shade trees. Step through the inviting reception hall, and into the gracious formal parlour and dining rooms; each room of wonderful proportions, boasting fireplaces and full ocean views. The unique large curved veranda by the water is filled with wicker furniture surrounding an inviting outdoor fireplace. The elegance of the Inn flows on to the second floor, where there is a spacious drawing room, with fireplace, perfectly suited to hours of relaxation. Join us for tea or a glass of wine or champagne, with hors d'ouveures in the late afternoon served on the veranda or in the upstairs Drawing Room.
