Welcome to Barn Croft nestling at the foot of Skiddaw in the quiet Hamlet of Applethwaite near Keswick in the United Kingdom. Barn Croft which was once an 18th Century Barn has been tastefully converted into a lovely two-storey cottage whilst still retaining many of its original features.

Barn Croft comprises of two lounges, one with double settee bed, two bedrooms, one double & one twin, fully fitted modern kitchen and equipment and bathroom including shower. Barn Croft has full central heating and open coal fire. There is private parking for guests and pets are welcome.

Barn Croft is bright, light and very well appointed with all the comforts one would expect for that home from home feel and to make your stay enjoyable and easy. Windows are everywhere which isn't surprising when you see the magnificent views it enjoys. Whichever way you look the fells are there.

The cosy lounge doubles up as a dining area with ample room to seat 6 people. There's a patio door with wonderful views towards the Jaws of Borrowdale, and an open coal fire awaits you at Barn Croft for those chillier evenings.

Leading from the lounge via an open staircase is a second lounge which can double up as a third bedroom. With its traditional beams and magnificent views you won't find a better place to sit, relax and comtemplate your days ahead.
