@ the beach is situated in the Strand Beach Hotel overlooking the water's edge and the pristine golden sand. The decor is vibrant and contemporary, and large floor to ceiling windows ensure that both the Restaurant and the outside terrace offer patrons a spectacular view of False Bay and Cape Point. There is also an informal lounge area for enjoying afternoon tea or pre-dinner drinks.
The Restaurant incorporates a spacious bar - the Bean Bar, which serves a selection of coffees and freshly baked cake throughout the day. From late afternoon onwards cocktails are the order of the day, and a separate cocktail menu offers a selection of classic cocktails as well as some exotic ones for the more adventurous.
Start the day with a full English buffet breakfast, or for late risers enjoy the all day mini breakfast. The a la carte menu focuses on fresh seafood and includes a mini seafood platter for two, and the ever popular deep-fried Calamari. There is usually a pasta dish, as well as Specials that change weekly. Most Sundays the Restaurant offers a buffet lunch where families and friends can come together for an old-fashioned Sunday lunch.
