The Beam Cabin in Port Angeles, Clallam County, United States | Self Catering

The Beam Cabin was built in 1929 and has been lovingly restored by its new owners. It is located directly on Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park, near Port Angeles, Washington, in a secluded and scenic wooded area. The Beam Cabin offers an abundance of peace and tranquility for your total relaxation and rejuvenation.

The cabin is located with easy access to numerous outdoor activities, shopping, and other recreational pursuits in Port Angeles.

The Beam Cabin,was completely renovated in 2000 and extensive updating just completed in 2007. Upstairs has been refinished with new pine tongue and groove wood. The upstairs open loft area contains 4 queen beds with all new high-quality Sealy mattresses, new pillows and beautifully detailed bed furnishings. The upstairs has outstanding sweeping views of Lake Crescent and screened windows.

The 600 square foot lower level has a modern kitchen with 4 burner stove with oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, slow cooker and toaster. The kitchen is completely furnished with generous quantities of dishes and serving ware, extensive cutlery and all necessary utensils. Wine glasses and corkscrew are included along with some baking utensils (see pictures of kitchen area). Basic spices, cooking oil, sugar and flour provided. Also on the lower level is a new twin sofa sleeper.

The Beam Cabin features a charming airtight wood stove and a comfortable seating area. Ample wood is provided for your enjoyment with a large supply that can be used for the wood stove or the fire pit. There is a sitting area near the stove with reading materials where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Lake; please feel free to take advantage of the lending library.

The bathroom has been completely updated with modern shower, sink and toilet and comes complete with a generous supply of fluffy towels and inviting amenities. Please bring your own beach towels. A hair dryer is provided.



There is a game room with various board games, cribbage board and cards, boom box, TV, DVD player, VCR, and limited supply of movies and music. A double bed size futon is located in the game room.
