Welcome to The Bed and Breakfast at the William Lewis House in Washington D.C., United States. This Bed and Breakfast offers ten beautifully furnished bedrooms in the Edwardian style, yet mindful of your comfort and convenience.
Originally opened as a single house after an extensive ten-year restoration, the William Lewis House expanded in 1999 to include the house next door and the garden between the two houses. The combined grounds provided space to create a wonderfully landscaped courtyard that includes a large sitting porch, hot tub, water garden, limited off-street locked parking and a large deck to connect the two houses.
Each bedroom is decorated with a charming blend of family heirlooms and selected antiques. A private telephone with voice mail is provided in each room and can be reached via the Guest Rooms telephone number. Fluffy, white cotton bathrobes in each closet help make trips to the shower and hot tub more convenient. An alarm clock is provided for your wake-up needs. The clocks even automatically reset during time changes. Each room is equipped with a multi-speed ceiling fan and a majority of the rooms are furnished with a writing desk for your convenience. Both houses are, of course, heated and air conditioned.
Secure wireless internet connections are available in each house. Each guest room is also hard-wired for high-speed connections. A computer is available for guest use in the dining room to check email, print boarding passes and to do those last minute changes to presentations.
We look forward to welcoming you to The Bed and Breakfast at the William Lewis House, Washington D.C., United States.
