Bennetts Water Gardens aquatic nursery is one of the original UK plant growers of water lilies with 50 years experience of pond plants. We sell aquatic plants and pond supplies by mail order and from our aquatic centre in Dorset. Water Lily plants are generally available between April and September.
Grass pathways lead you through the series of ponds and lakes surrounded by wetland plants, native trees, palms, wild plants and flowers. The Gardens are a 'Site of Nature Conservation Interest' and home to abundant wildlife. There are scenic places to sit and unwind and shaded woodland walks to explore. The Tropical House contains exotic plants including a cacti collection and a Family Nature Trail keeps young visitors interested.
Marriage ceremonies can be held in a Gazebo at Bennetts Water Gardens, Weymouth, which stands within the heart of these beautiful Gardens. From here you and your guests can enjoy your ceremony with a backdrop of the Monet style Japanese Bridge and water lily ponds. This is the closest you can get to an outdoor wedding within the UK under current laws. Civil wedding ceremonies can also take place indoors within The Tropical House or The Conservatory.
