Welcome to Bexwell Cottage, Wells-next-the-Sea, United Kingdom. Bexwell Cottage is a charming, newly-built, cottage-style detached house. The use of traditional brick and flint for the walls and red tiles for its roof ensures that the house sits well with the attractive houses typical of North Norfolk. The interior has been finished to a high standard, with careful attention paid to a layout and detail that are designed to enhance convenience, comfort and enjoyment.
The house is situated very close to both the centre of Wells-next-the-Sea and the quay. Shops, post office, library, bank and other facilities are a minute away. Set in sizeable grounds, the house has parking space for two or three cars. On the ground floor, the accommodation consists of entrance hall, sitting room, garden or sun room, combined kitchen and dining room, conservatory, bedroom and shower room/wc. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, each with en suite facilities. The house offers accommodation, ideally, for up to five persons, though there is scope for a sixth. The first floor bedrooms, each of which has its own room with shower and wc (and one a bath also), have, respectively, a large double bed and twin beds, all with pocket sprung mattresses.
The third bedroom, on the ground floor, has a single bed, as well as a truckle bed, stored beneath the single bed, which could be used in appropriate circumstances. The room with shower and wc on the ground floor is adjacent to the third bedroom. The sitting room, conservatory and garden room have a southerly aspect and a view over a lawned garden surrounded by trees and shrubs, inviting relaxation both indoors and out. The conservatory, facing east as well as south, is ideal for comfortable and leisurely breakfasts, as an alternative to the main dining area. The comprehensive range of equipment and facilities, in the kitchen and elsewhere, includes two electric ovens, with grill, gas hobs, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dish washer. In the sitting room, there are TV and DVD player and, elsewhere in the house, audio equipment and additional TVs.
A gas boiler supplies hot water and provides heating through radiators, on the first floor, and under floor on the ground floor. A wood burning stove, in the sitting room, offers luxury or alternative heating.
For overall comfort and enjoyment, smoking is not permitted in Bexwell Cottage and, regrettably, pets cannot be accommodated.
