The Big Moose Inn is located in the Mountains of the Adirondack State Park. The largest state park in the United States, it extends over 6 million acres. Approximately half the park is owned by the State of New York and designated as “Forever Wild”.

The Big Moose Inn is situated in Eagle Bay on the shores of Big Moose Lake one of the largest and most beautiful of the Adirondack park's 2,800 natural lakes. Approximately 5 miles in length and spanning almost 1-1/2 miles at its widest point, Big Moose Lake's 80 miles of shoreline encompass countless recreational activities.
