Welcome to the Blue Hill Garden Club, Blue Hill, Maine, United States. The Blue Hill Garden Club, Maine, through its meetings and programs, seeks to promote the study of horticulture, environmental preservation, birds, and butterflies. Town beautification projects are a special focus. Together, our members represent many years of gardening experience, and willingly share their knowledge with one another and with newcomers.
The Club meets on the third Tuesday of each month, April through September, plus a Christmas Party in December. Members are notified each month of the time, topic, and place of the meeting. Depending upon the topic, we may meet in a public place, such as the library, or we may gather in the home or garden of one of our members. We sometimes tour nearby public Gardens and nurseries.
Every few years, we sponsor the Blue Hill Garden Tour to raise funds for our town beautification projects.
Our meetings are open to all who love gardening. If you would like to attend a meeting to learn more about us, you are welcome.
