A very warm welcome to Bombora Blue, located in Old Bar in New South Wales in Australia.

Bombora Blue is a modern beach-house located in the friendly town of Old Bar. Old Bar itself is three hours from Sydney, an hour from Newcastle airport, and ten minutes from Taree in New South Wales.

The town is bordered by the Pacific Ocean, the Manning River estuary, and Khappinghat National Park. There is an abundance of natural beauty whichever way you turn.

The house itself is just 30 metres across a reserve from the beautiful surf beach of Old Bar, and adjacent to the only patrolled section of the beach. It?s an unspoiled, endlessly long beach (up to 25kms, depending on the tide), which is un-crowded and perfect for sunbathing, swimming, fossicking or picnicking.

From the deck you?ll often be able to watch dolphins at play, and whales can be spotted most days during the two yearly migration seasons.

Bombora Blue is a haven of relaxed, elegant beachside living. It can sleep eight people comfortably, but just as easily provide a cosy retreat for two.

You can just relax or you can be busy ? it?s up to you. There is swimming, surfing, tennis, bowling, micro-light flying, canoeing, walking, bird-watching, to name just some of the local activities.

Alternatively you might like to laze around with a book, watch a film in the theatre room, cook up a storm in the kitchen, have a BBQ or enjoy a glass of something as the moon rises over the ocean.

Bombora Blue is a stylish and contemporary Beach House, just 30 metres across the reserve from Old Bar?s endless beach. It is flooded with natural light and a sense of space that is apparent as soon as you walk in the door.

The house faces East ? perfect for watching the day dawn over the ocean, or, if you prefer to rise a little later, there is a huge deck facing the sea to take your breakfast on.

The accommodation is arranged so that most of the living spaces are upstairs, under soaring cathedral ceilings ? perfect for making the most of the magnificent sea views.

Bombora Blue has 5 bedrooms which can accommodate up to 8 people, but can just as easily provide a romantic retreat for two.

The main bedroom is situated upstairs, adjacent to its own bathroom. It has a romantically draped four-poster queen-sized bed, and is comfortably furnished with generous built-in wardrobes.

There is a further queen-bedded room downstairs; another room with a king-single bed, a twin-bedded room and finally, a child?s single room.

There are three bathrooms, one of which has a relaxing spa bath.

Also downstairs there is a large home-theatre room with a 42? plasma screen TV, and DVD with surround sound.
