In Cornwall, in south west England right down near the lands end, the district is known as west Penwith. It is full of ancient megaliths
from the pre bronze age period , there is an air of
timeless magic here, not to mention fabulous golden
and white beaches,with beautiful green/blue surf.

And of course the wonderful cornish people, some of whom still retain the old celtic language of cornish.

Even in peak holiday season which is only five to six weeks
in the summer,there are places that remain secluded
and quiet.

Nearby is the Tate gallery at st.ives, also the eden
project at st. austell(about 50 mins drive).
