Welcome to the Brixham Rugby Football Club, United Kingdom. The Rugby Club was formed in 1850 when Rugby Union Football was introduced to Brixham when a newly ordained curate arrived from Cambridge University . At this stage there were few laws and the game was essentially a type of mob football mainly played by local fishermen.
The clubhouse has two function rooms available for hire by both club members and, increasingly, by non-members. Both rooms are on the first floor of the clubhouse with access via the stairs and by lift.
Two of the bars are downstairs; these are the ones used most frequently and the composite pictures below will give you a rough idea about what they are like. As you can see, both bars have projector TVs in them and get busy when there are big matches on Sky (even when the Maori's beat the Lions!
