Welcome to Burns Farm, a caravan park and camp site near Keswick Cumbria in the North Lakes.  Burns Farm is a family site with modern facilities in a quiet location midst the heart of Lakeland, paramount in Lake District camping in the United Kingdom.

From your pitch, you will get spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.  We are within easy reach of Scafell Pike and Catbells and many more mountain and fells that are just as wonderful. From within 2 miles are the near-by Lakes, waters, meres, and tarns of Derwentwater, Bassenthwaite, Thirlmere, Rydal, Ullswater, and Windermere to within 20 miles.  "Tewet tarn" is practically on our doorstep. The majestic Lakeland scenery of Thrilkeld, Keswick, Bassenthwaite, Braithwaite, and Borrowdale within 5 miles.

Burns Farm is just 1 mile walk to the nearest eating places and pubs in the delightful Village of Threlkeld, and the pretty market Town of Keswick  where you will find a good array of restaurants and pubs. There are lots of walks from the site and a bus service  to Keswick and Threlkeld.

We are located in the beautiful valley of St. John's-in-the-Vale about 1/2 a mile from the ancient Castlerigg Stone Circle.  Burns Farm is surrounded by an open bowl of hills, just right for relaxing and de-stressing in the idyllic setting, or if you are more adventurous, we are ideally situated for walking,  water sports, fishing, rock climbing, cycling, pony riding, golf, paragliding, and all the other attractions in the North Lakes.
