Welcome to Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club, San Pedro, United States.   Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club was founded in 1932 as a sailing Club by a small group of sailboat enthusiasts, CBYC has grown steadily over the years in terms of its membership, facilities, and the scope of activities offered.
Tucked away on the lee (warm side) of the Palos Verdes Peninsula and overlooking LA Harbor, the Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club, San Pedro Clubhouse and marina are situated in the most pleasant micro-climate in the area. This unique location provides the finest (and shortest) sail to Catalina Island Coves and the absolute best all-around sailing and power boating on the West Coast. The winds found in "Hurricane Gulch" provide excellent conditions for sailors of all types of boats, from sabots to sleds.
The objective of the Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club, as given in our By-Laws, is to organize, promote and sponsor yachting and yacht racing in and about the waters of Southern California.
The CBYC Clubhouse is open five days a week - Wednesday through Sunday. We offer full bar service on those days and on Monday Nights during Monday Night Football Season.
Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club is a Senior member Club of the Southern California Yachting Association and we offer reciprocity to all recognized member Clubs of SCYA, US Sailing, ISAF (IYRU), YRUSC, ASPBYC and Yacht Clubs of America.
CBYC is also a supporting Club of RBOC, the Recreational Boater's Association of California.
