Cape Canaveral Lighthouse is located on the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and is generally not open for public access. There are seven locations of interest to Lighthouse buffs in the Cape Canaveral area:
May 2000 During a visit to the Lighthouse in May 2000 through the Florida Lighthouse Association, I noticed a brochure at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offering a tour called "Cape Canaveral Then and Now". The tour goes to several of the early space (Mercury & Gemini) program points of interest, the Air Force Space and Missile Museum and rocket garden and the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse. The brochure lists the price of this tour as $35, but a sandwich board display listed the cost as $44 for adults and $35 for children. The tour cost includes the Kennedy Space Tour and a booklet.
