Renovation changes include new siding, inside and outside paint, roofing, landscaping, stone work and, most of all, the beautiful new slate deck off the bar. A great place to have a drink while watching the sunset over the Back Harbour. Not apparent, but of great importance to the preservation of this historic house built for Rev. Secombe in 1822, are heating, new wiring, plumbing, kitchen equipment and structural improvements. The Captain's House has retained her natural beauty and, of course, the magnificent ocean view is unchanged.
