Carr Bed and Breakfast in , , | Bed and Breakfast

The Carr Bed & Breakfast is located on Eaton's Neck, just north of Northport, Long Island, New York, in the United States.  Carr Bed & Breakfast, known as "The Hill," was built in 1902 as the focal point of a sprawling 500 acre Summer Estate for Beaux-Arts architect Harry Ellingwood Donnell (Don-Nell) as a gift to his wife.  Teddy Roosevelt was a frequent guest and Rube Goldberg drew cartoons in the Library. Today, Carr Bed & Breakfast remains on five lush acres surrounded by beautiful gardens, lawns, and woods with views of the water.
Whether you are looking for the ultimate romantic getaway, a relaxing vacation spot, or just a place that feels like home while on business, the Carr Bed & Breakfast offers a unique experience.
A premium breakfast is served in the Carr Bed & Breakfast's formal dining room, and includes assorted juices, yogurts, bagels, pastries, cereals, fruits, etc. which comprises an expanded and delightful continental styled breakfast.  Food is plentiful, and you dine at your own leisure and pace.  The outside verandas are an ideal location for breakfast when weather permits.
Beaches are minutes away from Carr Bed & Breakfast, as is shopping in historic Northport Village. Unlike some historic villages, downtown Northport is not a haven of traffic jams and never-ending tourists. It's quiet, quaint, and removed from the typical tourist crowd.  You won't want to miss its historic architecture, unique restaurants, and eclectic mix of stores. It's a hidden, genuine, old New England town well worth exploring.
