Casa Val Del Rei Farmhouse is an old rural Farmhouse restored to maintain the region's architectural characteristics. Situated on a hilltop close to the Almargem River, it is surrounded by orange groves and olive trees with both sea and hilltop views in Tavira in Portugal.

Casa Val Del Rei Farmhouse is located in Tavira district, known as one of the jewels of the Algarve in Portugal. It is a fishing town bearing strong Moorish influences with cobblestone streets and picturesque squares preserving a lot of Portugal's old charm.

Casa Val Del Rei Farmhouse comprises 7 fully air conditioned and heated double bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and showers. Two of the bedrooms have a third bed in a curtained off area. Maid service and towel changes included in the price.

Breakfast is usually served outside in the summer months under the old Alfarobos Tree in full view of the surrounding countryside and consists of the choice of cereals, eggs, toast, homemade jams, fruit, fresh orange juice, coffee and tea.

Apart from listed areas of cultural interest & country walks, there are bicycles and tennis courts for hire within minutes of the Farmhouse.

There are several beaches all around the area. The nearest beach to Casa Vale del Rei is Cabana beach which is 5 mins drive away. Most of the beaches have cafes and umbrellas / loungers for hire. The traditional fish / fruit markets are not to be missed.

There are 30 churches to visit providing lovely examples of Portuguese & local arts / crafts stalls in and around the main town square to browse around.

The 13th hole of the Benamor Gold Club can be seen from our breakfast terrace. There are a further two Golf Courses within ten mins of the Casa Val Del Rei Farmhouse in Tavira, Algarve.

Ayamonte in Spain, is only 20 mins drive away on the IPI motorway and many of our guests play on the two courses they have there for further variety.
