Cassidy's Bar located in Dublin and established in 1856, was once the home of The Freeman's Journal,  the oldest national newspaper in Ireland which harboured some of the leaders of the 1916 rising.
Renowned for Bill Clinton's visit in 1995. Cassidy's Bar is owned and personally run by Bill's cousins.
Cassidy's Bar is a real Irish Bar with a bohemian atmosphere serving wholesome traditional and international food all day. There are three floors with Jazz in the basement, a piano Bar and mezzanine area.
Cassidy's Bar offers a host of entertainment with traditional Irish music being played regularly through out the week along with some of Ireland's finest musicians performing a variety of modern sounds.
With function rooms available and a series of large screen and plasma TV's Cassidy's Bar can cater to your every need.  So drop in for an Irish welcome good conversation great craic and music. You might be lucky enough to meet cousin Bill if he is in town.
With it's central location in Dublin, Cassidy's Bar is the ideal venue for your special event or get together. There are two function rooms available, each catering for groups of 60 - 100 people.
Both rooms have high quality music systems and space for a DJ and we can provide use of a PA system, Karaoke machine and plasma screen. Additionally, you have the capability to play ipod or personal cd's through the main speaker system.
Cassidy's Bar has a selection of food available for functions and platters.  We cater for large banquets, office meetings, office parties, 21st, Christmas party's, table quizzes and anything you request we will do our best to cater for you.
