Keswick in the United Kingdom is a small market town in the north of the Lake District with by far the best and most famous views in the area. Be it in the rugged Borrowdale Valley , the scenic beauty of Newlands Valley or just over the Newlands Hawes in the quiet but beautiful Buttermere Valley.

Each room has tea and coffee making facilities, colour tv and are centrally heated. There are spectacular views from the rooms and the garden. A hearty Cumbrian breakfast is served with vegetarian options. We have a drying room and secure bike store.
Feel free to use the dining room as a sitting area where much information can be found of the area including mapped walks, leaflets advertising places of local interest, what's on at our local theatre and cinema and bus/launch timetables.
Castlefell Guest House is located in a quiet area on the fringe of the town, only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Keswick and 5minutes to the lakeshore through the local ornamental Hope Park.

There is so much to do in and around Keswick, whether you are looking for an adventure holiday or just a relaxing break. Fell walking, mountainbiking, climbing are the most common types of adventure holiday, but you could try paragliding or sailing. If this all seems to energetic for you there are mini bus excursions that will take you on a tour of the lakes showing you some of the most beautiful areas and views in the Lake district.
