Cecilia's Deli and Cafe is the best place to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Alberni inlet while eating a freshly prepared meal. Cecilia's Deli and Cafe is located at the Alberni Harbour Quay at the foot of Argyle Street in Port Alberni, British Columbia in Canada. Cecilia's Deli and Cafe has been open since March 1, 2005. We have indoor and outdoor seating. We welcome our regular customers and enjoy meeting the tourists.
Our Chef, Ernst Joss was born and raised in Switzerland. He apprenticed as a Chef and worked in Swiss hotels and restaurants. He then moved to Canada and worked at many well-known hotels and restaurants including the Jasper Park Lodge, Jasper, AB, Le Beaujolais Restaurant, Banff, AB and the Coast Hotel at Stanley Park in Vancouver, BC. He moved with his wife, Michelle and daughter, Cecilia to Vancouver Island, BC to escape the cold winters of Alberta.
