The Chacma Trail is a 31km guided nature trail from Cape Point to the historic Simon's Town over 2 days. The trail starts out along the rugged Cape Point cliff tops, meanders down to the beach and shoreline before rising to traverse inland of the iconic Judas Peak, ascending the spine of the towering Swartkop mountains, finally sweeping down to Simon's Town.
A beautiful sense of isolation and splendid views of both the Indian and Atlantic Ocean are constant features of the trail.
You will enjoy 3 nights of cosy accommodation, warm and friendly service in the Cheriton guest house overlooking False Bay and historic Simon's Town with daily transfers to the start and finish points of the trail. The penguin colony, beaches and town are within easy walking distance, providing plenty of opportunity to explore Simon's Town on your days of arrival and departure.
