Perched on a secluded hillside, The Chalet of Canadaiguaoffers luxurious accommodation in a peaceful and private location. The majestic log home that is now The Chalet of Canadaigua was originally built by Lestor Bryce in 1966. At the time Mr Bryce was the current owner of Roseland Park located on Canadaigua Lake. Envisioned as an idyllic retreat in the woods, the original log home was a small two bedroom cabin, hidden far back on the property, and accessible only by a rough dirt road. The property was purchased in 1974 by Lodge Ridge Farms and then sold to Robert E Lee and his wife Ann in 1976. The Lees enhanced the already impressive log cabin and surrounding property through major renovations over the course of the 30 years that they lived there, turning it into the idyllic home it is today. In October of 2006, Margaret Covington and Pattie English, the current owners and innkeepers, acquired The Chalet of Canadaigua with warm wishes from the Lee family.
