Welcome to The Chandlery Restaurant, Newport, Wales, United Kingdom. A converted 19th Century ships chandlery, the building now plays host to a family run Restaurant. Giving a modern light and airy feel whilst maintaining many of the original features.
The Restaurant is featured in all the major guides and won The Best Seafood Restaurant of the year 2004 for Wales (not bad for a Restaurant that doesn?t just sell seafood).
The Restaurant operates on the two floors and on weekends bustles with a busy Restaurant trade.
During the week, the first floor can be booked for meetings, conferences, buffets and celebrations (for up to 60 people). This room also makes an excellent venue for weddings and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.
The Chandlery Restaurant offers a very reasonably priced 2/3 course lunch which changes weekly. There is also a lite bite menu and the a la carte menu is available on request.
For Dinner there s a full a la carte and specials are often available, for example, the Restaurant gets great lobsters from Pembroke (weather permitting!) and there is also a tasting menu.
