The Charleson Recreation Area on the northern edge of Atikokan, Ontario, Canada offers spectacular recreational opportunities in summer and winter, motorized and not, outdoor enthusiasts will love it here. There's a motocross track that hosts several events throughout the racing season, there's a 4X4 mud racing track for extreme fun with a popular mudfling weekend every summer as well as world class trails for snowmobiling in winter. They also have canoeing and fishing on the lakes around Charleson, and excellent mountain biking trails, horse riding trails and snowshoe trails, so there's something for everyone, and all are welcome. Charleson Recreation Area are hoping to expand further in the near future and add camping facilities and parking and more, but in the meantime come for the outdoor adventure of your life.
