Chimneys Homestay Bed & Breakfast was originally built in 1907 as a Doctor's residence using Oamaru stone (limestone) and New Zealand native timber. Its unusual design is full of character. We love this house, I hope you will too.

Since purchasing Chimneys Homestay Bed & Breakfast in March 2005 we have invested a great deal of time and effort carefully refurbishing our home to its former glory. I am convinced the original owner, Dr R G S Orbell is happy with the makeover of this house.
