Comox Valley Kayaks offers a Kayaking 100 course. This is a basic 2 hour introduction to Kayaking designed for those who have never done any Kayaking before. Emphasis is placed on getting on the water and learning the basis strokes and learning to feel comfortable in a kayak. Those interested in a more comprehensive lesson should take our flatwater paddle Canada series.
Spend an enjoyable day kayak touring in Baynes Sound. We will cover launching, basic strokes, equipment, and safety but the emphasis will be paddling in this beautiful area. Tree Island is our lunch destination. The day trip gives you lots of time on the water and a chance to develop a feel for sea Kayaking. In addition, you will gain a new appreciation for our local waters. Includes guiding and all Kayaking equipment. Group rates available.
