If you want to feel as if you have your own private chef, make reservations to dine at The Company of the Cauldron. Located in the heart of Nantucket's Historic District, the abundant charm of this small red building with ivy-covered windows invites you to enter. Inside the doorway massed flowers greet you on the antique bakers rack. Just beyond, tables set with old silverware and classic floral linens glow softly, lit only by candles. The kitchen is open and can be seen from the dining room. Classical harp music wafts in the background three evenings of the week. Romantic ambience abounds.
The Company of the Cauldron's outstanding and creative cuisine continues as the Restaurant begins the new millenium. All & Andrea start their ninth season as proprietors, creating elegant menus, offered each evening as a different prix fixe dinner. Menus are available a week in advance. One of the Restaurant's signature dishes is Nantucket Vinewood Roasted Salmon. Other well-known entrées are Grilled Atlantic Halibut Tandoori, Wood Grilled Chateaubriand served Over Roasted Wild Mushrooms and Ginger Crusted Rack Of Lamb.
