Self Contained Family Units

Our self-contained units are the ideal choice when you want all the comforts of home. These units have one large open plan living/dining area, a separate bedroom and a separate bathroom. There are two single beds/bunks in the main living/dining room and a Queen Bed in the bedroom. All beds are made up with full linen, except during peak season. The bedroom also has bedside tables, reading lamps, a mirror, wardrobe and a set of drawers for your belongings.
There is a full kitchen at one end of the open plan living room, fully-equipped with a microwave, a cook top and a large fridge/freezer. There is also a toaster and kettle. Pots, pans, crockery and cutlery are also included. Your living/dining area also has a colour television, a dining table and chairs, and a comfortable double sofa bed.

Self Contained Studio Plus

Our self-contained units are the ideal choice when you want all the comforts of home. These units are all very new and modern. They have one open plan living/dining area, a separate small bunk room and a separate bathroom. There is one Queen Bed in the main living/dining room and two single bunk beds in the small bedroom. All beds are made up with full linen, except during peak season. There is a well-equipped kitchen in your open plan living room with a microwave, cook top and fridge/freezer. There is also a toaster and kettle. Pots, pans, crockery and cutlery are also included. Your living/dining area also has a colour television and a dining table and chairs.


Kitchen Cabin

A Kitchen Cabin is a well-equipped and comfortable holiday ?home?. Kitchen Cabins are one open plan room, but the sleeping area is made completely private with a partial wall and curtain. In the main living area you will find a kitchenette with a fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave and all the pots, pans, crockery and cutlery you will need. There is also a dining table and chairs, a single divan (which can be made up as a bed) and a colour TV in your living/dining area. The park ablution block is 20 metres from your accommodation. The bedroom/sleeping area has one duo bunk (double bed with single above), one set of single bunks and a set of drawers for your belongings. All beds come with a bottom sheet, pillow and pillowcase. Linen is available for hire. The communal ablution and amenities block is very close by for your convenience.

Campsites

Come camping or caravanning with us! We have 60 powered sites within private hedge-lined rows. Motorhomes and Campervans are always welcome here! We have a grey water dump outlet on-site and there is a free sewerage dump station only a 5 minute drive from Cosy Corner. One caravan and awning (or one tent) and one vehicle per site only. Additional boats or trailers must be approved by management prior to arrival.


Pack a picnic and your beach gear and spend long lovely days at the beach, just 80 metres from Cosy Corner.

Swim, surf and boogie board or splash about in the shallows with the little ones.

Get your head into a good book as you relax in the sun, build sandcastles or have a game of beach cricket. It?s a good life, and all here for the taking when you stay with us at Cosy Corner.

The main Mount Beach is just a 5 minute drive away, and a bustling vibrant place to see and be seen, especially during summer months. There are beachfront cafes, and the towering Mount Maunganui offers excellent walks around its base or to its summit. Pack a nice lunch and set off to find a quiet beach or stunning views.

The main Mount Maunganui beach is blessed to have a surf beach on one side and a calm harbour (Pilot Bay) on the other (just a few hundred metres apart!). Pilot Bay is a great spot for kayaking, swimming and even fishing off one of the jetties.

Volunteer surf lifesaving clubs operate over the summer season at the main Mount Beach, at Omanu Beach (a quick stroll from Cosy Corner) and further down the coast at Papamoa Beach (a ten minute drive from Cosy Corner).
